Let me give ya the lowdown on
Over anything in the world I love to be with the people I love. My family, friends and my little sweetheart, Toki, enjoying the simplicity in the everyday.
I grew up on a small vineyard. I was surrounded by natural spaces without a lot of distractions. It encouraged me to spend day after day outside, taking it all in. I spent most of my childhood outdoors. My love for it definitely influences my work.
And here's a little on what I'm all about.

And the longer I get to do this, and the stronger I grow as a photographer and creative, the more enraptured I truly feel. Just like that little farm girl all those years ago.
As a creative storyteller, I have a passion for curating experiences that matter and that last a life time. Capturing images and feelings that take you on a journey. Celebrating slow made moments that kindle your imagination and set your heart on fire.
I've always just felt captivated, fascinated with imagery.
You could say I was a little obsessed. And I guess I still kinda am.
This career has taken me sooooo far and to so many places.
I’ve been immensely blessed with some incredible partnerships and collaborations, with so many creative and inspiring projects and with an abundance of opportunities to learn and dream and grow. From the ski slopes of Colorado to the Himalayan mountains of Nepal, from tropical destination weddings to the studios of some truly incredible brands, the sentiments remain the same.

I’m a homebody who loves serving up a meal around a crowded table. Let’s eat and drink together!
I have dreams of one day becoming a Graphic Designer too, as beautiful detail and design make me weak in the knees, yo.
Toki, our fur baby, who kinda looks like an Ewok, low-key runs our life.
I’m a lifelong Early Riser and morning coffee is my favourite time of day.

Jenna & Quinn -Prairie and Luna Cannabis Co.
We have had the opportunity to work with Janalla for two photoshoots for our business, Prairie and Luna Cannabis Co. Jay’s work has been absolutely essential in bringing our brand to life. She truly understands our vision (even when we don’t feel totally confident in it!) and captures our store so beautifully. We always say that she makes us look WAY cooler and more professional than we actually are! Most recently we did a photoshoot with our new staff and, although none of them had done any professional photography prior, we all felt extremely comfortable and laughed our way through it! Needless to say, the pics turned out amazing!! She always comes beyond prepared. Jay really goes above and beyond in terms of making the most of our time together and making sure we receive a wide variety of images to use on our socials and website. Plus, she’s literally the sweetest. We can’t recommend Jay enough!
