I've always been drawn to the way a photograph can take you back. Not just to a place, but to a feeling. The warmth of a particular afternoon, the smallness of a hand in yours, the way life felt in a season that has since passed. My own childhood memories live in photographs like that. Imperfect, honest and full of something I can't quite name but always recognize. That's what drives me to pick up my camera, the hope that one day these images will do the same for you.
I'm drawn to the real rhythm of your family — the snack breaks, the sibling dynamics, the way your kids pile onto you without being asked. The tender, unhurried, in-between moments that make your family entirely your own.
This isn't the place for stiff poses or perfectly coordinated outfits. I'm not interested in directing your family into something they're not. If you're looking for traditional, posed portraits, I'm probably not your girl. But if you want photographs that feel like a exhale. Honest, nostalgic and full of heart, I think we're going to work beautifully together.
Motherhood is the most photographed season of life and somehow the least documented for the women living it. These sessions are an invitation to step into the frame. To be seen in the way you see everyone else. Tender, unhurried, and completely centred on you and the little ones who made you a mama.
I know what you're thinking — couples sessions can feel awkward and unnatural. But I promise, it doesn't have to be that way. I'll give you a few gentle prompts to get you moving, and then I'll step back and let you just be with each other. No forced poses, no awkward directions — just the two of you, doing what you do, while I quietly document all of it.
The laughter, the closeness, the way you love each other when nobody's watching.
I'd love to learn your story and document it honestly, tenderly and just for you.
