Pregnancy is such a special season!! It’s a time of so much joy and anticipation. Emotions run deep as the connection between a couple and the babe grows. This intimate maternity session in Ontario, is inspired by the relationship between these two and their anticipation of what’s to come. During every session I photography, I like to focus on the unique life, love and connection between each individual. These two were the sweetest couple to photograph!!
We chose to do the session in a beautiful field in Petawawa, Ontario. I think the surroundings infused a sense of timeless beauty and complimented the heartfelt connection between these two.
Rather than simply posing my couples for their maternity session. I like to emphasize the importance of a genuine connection between them. I wanted to see how these two interacted and reacted when talking about their journey through maternity. I like to create a series of photos that not only capture the physical beauty of pregnancy, but also the emotional connections that define this season that the couple is in.
I think that the bond that the couple shares is so significant to the entire maternity experience. By capturing intimate moments between the couple, it creates a story of love, support and anticipation. The connection manifests in subtle gestures, tender embraces and shared excitement making the photos sooo special!
These photographs will become such cherished reminders from this time in their lives. Capturing the couples bond and how they’ve grown together, the emotions they’re feeling and the beauty of their relationship through this maternity season. I like to create a foundation for the photos of the couple’s connection, elevating them from mere photographs to a meaningful representation of this journey they’re on.
